What this is

BullioniTracker is a free precious-metals portfolio tracker and a small set of guides for people deciding where to buy and store physical bullion — with a deliberate focus on Singapore as a vaulting jurisdiction for buyers in the region.

It is a publisher. It is not a dealer, a broker, a bank or an adviser, it never takes custody of anyone’s money or metal, and it does not tell anyone whether to buy. See not financial advice.

Who writes it

This site does not yet carry a named author, and it is not going to invent one. Plenty of finance sites publish under a fabricated byline or a stock photo; we would rather tell you nobody is named yet than tell you a name that is not real. When that changes, this section will carry a real person and a profile you can check.

How it pays for itself

The intention is affiliate commission from bullion dealers: if you follow a marked link and buy, the dealer pays us, and your price is unchanged. No affiliate relationship is active yet and no paid link appears anywhere on the site. The disclosure page is updated before any paid link goes live, not after.

The standards every figure has to meet

• Sourced to whoever set the rule. Tax, duty and customs claims cite the authority — IRAS, Singapore Customs, Royal Malaysian Customs — not another blog quoting them.
• Dated. Every guide says when it was last checked, because these rules change and a stale page is a wrong page.
• Uncertainty is stated, not smoothed over. Where the rules are being revised, the guide says so and says which part is most likely to have moved.
• Prices are labelled indicative. Spot comes from a third-party feed and is not a dealer quote. When the feed fails, the site says the price is unavailable rather than showing you a stale one.
• Nothing is claimed before it exists. There are no first-hand purchase receipts on this site yet, so nothing here is written as though there are.

What it does with your data

Almost nothing. Your holdings are stored in your own browser and never reach us; there is no account and no analytics. Photographs you scrub are processed entirely in your browser. The full detail is on the privacy page.

Corrections

If a figure here is wrong, it should be fixed rather than defended. Write to hello@bullionitracker.com and say which page and which number — corrections are made in place, and the “last checked” date moves with them.
